Nutrition is a main factor in an athlete’s training and performance. Eating foods that provide benefits is a key.  Here are some of the top fittest foods for athletes.  First up is SALMON. Salmon is excellent due to the large amount of omega 3 that helps boost heart health and keepa your blood flowing freely through your arteries and veins.  Additionally, salmon is full of protein for building muscle.

Finally, SWEET POTATOES are amazing. They have Vitamin C and E, beta carotene and iron. Together these nutritents help athletes compete in extreme enviroments and protect against any cellular damage. To top it off, they are great for muscle recovery after a hard workout.

Addtional benefit of sweet potatoes, they are a great brain food. Vitamin B6 helps chemicals like serotonin and adrenalin, which is good for your brain.
